The third Migratory Bird Festival on the island of Chiloé is a heritage celebration that fuses the island’s culture and biodiversity. Birdwatching trips along coastal wetlands, conferences, scientific and photo exhibitions, local handcrafts, gastronomy and more make for an exciting time.
Located in the south of Chile, Chiloe is home to thousands of migratory birds, including Hudsonian Godwits and Whimbrels that use the island as their main wintering stop in the Pacífic flyway. At least 50 bird species can be seen close to the festival location.
