Gallery contributor Kim Gary photographed this Blue-throated Bee-eater as it grabbed a dragonfly in southwest Singapore and posted the image to our
World Gallery.
"This species is very sensitive to movement and things that are reflective," Kim says. "As such, I had to be in my camo dog house waiting for this Blue-throated Bee-eater for almost half a day."
He used a Nikon D3s with an 800mm lens.
