Larry Selman saw this female Anna's Hummingbird with a nestling in Santa Cruz, California.
The newly hatched and hungry hummingbird
(Calypte anna) was begging for a meal at the University of California Santa Cruz Arboretum. Larry used a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and a 500mm lens with a 1.4x teleconverter.
