Laure Wilson Neish located this Clark's Nutcracker at the end of a cedar hedge on her neighbor's property in Penticton, British Columbia.
"The bird (Nucifraga columbiana) so busy working on getting seeds out of the Ponderosa pine cone that I was able to sneak my camera and lens on the tripod to the end of the hedge and get a few shots," Laure tells us.
She shot the photo with a Nikon 801 camera, Tamron 200-400 mm lens and Fuji Velvia film.
