Not all of the birds selected as a Photo of the Week in May can be seen in North America. One occurs across much of the eastern United States. Another you can found only in the beautiful Southwest. And the remaining two can be viewed in the wild only after doing a bit of traveling. Here are all four once again, in case you missed them the first time around.
Marie-France Grenouillet photographed this pair of vulnerable Hyacinth Macaws in Brazil in July 2009.
This Prairie Warbler was singing in Zaleski State Forest in south-central Ohio in early May 2014. Jim Buescher shot the photo.
This Squacco Heron, photographed by Cesare Galanti, was at Circeo National Park in Italy in May 2014.
Steve Wolfe photographed this male Olive Warbler in the Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona.
