Eduardo Pérez-Paris was walking along a path near his condominium in Tampa, Florida, on January 4, 2012, when this Osprey landed in a tree above him clutching a fish.
"It waited a bit, checked on me down below, took a patient view to the lake, and started to eat its prey with great appetite, staring at me once in a while before every bite," Eduardo says. "When the Osprey finished eating, it moved to another branch in the same tree, cleaned its claws and beak, and later moved to the top of another tree."
He photographed the bird with a Kodak EasyShare Z712 IS digital zoom camera. He notes that he moved slowly and made little noise to avoid disturbing the Osprey.
