Tufted Puffin
Previous Photo of the Week
Tufted Puffin
©Alexander Viduetsky
Published: September 7, 2009
Subscriber Alex Viduetsky of Valley Village, California, photographed this Tufted Puffin
(Fratercula cirrhata)
as it took flight in Kenai Fjords National Park in Alaska.
During his trip to Alaska, Alex photographed fairly common Horned Puffins as well as less common Tufted Puffins. He used a Canon 40D and a 100-400mm lens.
