Meet Mariah, a Peregrine Falcon that nests in a box atop the Eastman Kodak Company's headquarters in Rochester, New York.
Thomas Hoehn submitted the photo, which was made with a Kodak digital camera. He works with a team of people at Kodak to post
photos of Peregrines. "We are in our seventh year and are proud of our efforts to help re-establish the Peregrine
(Falco peregrinus) in New York State while providing an extremely high-quality digital view into their world," says Thomas.
Mariah has nested on the Kodak building for each of the last seven years. Kaver is her second mate. Since 1998, 21 young falcons have fledged from the Kodak nest box.
