Photographer Dave Welling writes about conservation-minded ranches in Texas that welcome wildlife photographers. Blinds, tours, water features, accommodations, and prices are described for 17 ranches in the Panhandle, Hill Country, Coastal Bend, and Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The ranches are home to Audubon's Oriole, Lesser Prairie-Chicken, Golden-cheeked Warbler, Black-capped Vireo, Painted Bunting, and many other sought-after birds.
